Spice SE92P
The Spice SE92P is an IMSA GTP race car built in 1992 by Spice Engineering in Britain. It was designed by Graham Humphrys and followed the SE91P.
The car uses an aluminium honeycomb monocoque chassis with a carbon fiber–Kevlar body. Front suspension is double wishbones with coil springs over dampers and an anti-roll bar; rear suspension is double wishbones with rocker-actuated coil springs over dampers and an anti-roll bar. Front and rear axle tracks are about 58.5 inches, and the wheelbase is 107.7 inches.
Under the mid-mounted, naturally aspirated Chevrolet 6.5 L V8 sits a Hewland DGB 5-speed manual transmission. Power is around 800 hp, and weight is about 1,984 pounds (900 kg). Brakes are AP Racing ventilated discs.
The SE92P competed in IMSA GTP sports-car racing in 1992.
