The Windsor Lancers men's ice hockey team represents the University of Windsor and competes in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference as part of U Sports. They play their home games at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex in Windsor, Ontario. The program began in the early 1960s (originally as the Assumption College Lancers) and has won two conference championships: the Queen's Cup in 2014 and regular-season titles in 1965, 1998, and 2015, plus conference tournament titles in 1998 and 2014. The Lancers have appeared in the national championships in 1998, 2014, 2015, and 2023, with 2014 marking their highest national finish, ranked No. 5 in the nation.

In recent seasons, Windsor has continued to compete at a high level. The 2022-23 team, led by Nathan Torchia, who was named U Sports Goaltender of the Year, finished second in the OUA West and earned a playoff bye into the later rounds. They won a tight series to reach the Queen’s Cup in Windsor, where the championship final went six periods before UQTR prevailed. Windsor then advanced to the national tournament in Prince Edward Island, where they faced the Alberta Golden Bears and were eliminated in the opening round.
