Warren L. Wood
Warren L. Wood (February 5, 1910 – January 13, 1980) was an American businessman and politician from Illinois. He was born in Joliet, Illinois, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. Wood worked in banking and was a farmer in Plainfield, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Wood served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1935 to 1945 and from 1947 to 1965, and he was Speaker of the Illinois House. He was a Republican. He died in Plainfield, Illinois.
