Nearby, Effigy Mounds National Monument and Yellow River State Forest are a short drive away, and the city of McGregor is just to the south.
Education in Marquette is part of the MFL MarMac Community School District, formed in 1994 from the merger of Mar-Mac and M-F-L districts.
