Pak Nam Laem Sing
Pak Nam Laem Sing is a sub-district (tambon) in Laem Sing District, Chanthaburi Province, Thailand. It covers about 37.9 square kilometers and has 16 villages. The area is governed by the Pak Nam Laem Sing Subdistrict Municipality.
The sub-district sits at the mouth of the Chanthaburi River, where it flows into the Gulf of Thailand. The name means “mouth of Laem Sing,” with Laem Sing referring to the cape. The cape’s rock shape, like a crouching lion, inspired the name Laem Sing, or “lion cape.”
A goby fish called Mahidolia mystacina was first identified here (its type locality).

The municipality’s seal shows a mountain, the Chanthaburi River, the lion-shaped rock, and the sun and clouds inside a circle. The sub-district is made up of 16 muban (villages).
