Agoseris parviflora, commonly called Steppe agoseris, sagebrush agoseris, or false dandelion, is a North American wildflower in the daisy family. It lives mostly in the Western United States, especially the Great Basin and areas drained by the Colorado River, with some populations in the eastern Sierra Nevada foothills and on the western edge of the Great Plains. Its range stretches from eastern Oregon and eastern California to Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico, with a few isolated populations in western Kansas and western South Dakota.

The plant grows as a low rosette at ground level with no tall leafy stem. It has a single flower head with many yellow ray florets and no disc florets, giving it a dandelion-like appearance.

Conservation status: Apparently Secure (NatureServe).

Classification: Kingdom Plantae; Order Asterales; Family Asteraceae; Genus Agoseris; Species parviflora. Binomial name Agoseris parviflora (Nutt.) D.Dietr. It has several synonyms, including Agoseris caudata, Agoseris dens-leonis, Agoseris leontodon, Agoseris leptocarpa, Agoseris taraxacifolia, Agoseris taraxacoides, Agoseris tomentosa, and Troximon parviflorum.
