Manuela Eugenia Ímaz Houglín was born on June 14, 1979, in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico. She is a Mexican actress and former TV host. She started as a host on the TeleHit channel, appearing in El Planeta de Cabeza and Zona Pública. Her first acting role came in 2001 in Amigas y rivales, invited by producer Emilio Larrosa. She later acted in Las Vías del Amor (2002) alongside actors such as Enrique Rocha and Daniela Romo. After a break, she returned in Corazones al límite (2004) as Isadora. She has a daughter named Alaya (born 2003) and is married to Arturo Villanueva. Her cousin is film director Rubén Ímaz.
