Vyšná Rybnica
Vyšná Rybnica (Hungarian: Felsőhalas, Rusyn: Вышня Рыбниця) is a village and municipality in the Sobrance District of the Košice Region in eastern Slovakia. It was first mentioned in 1419. The village sits at 219 meters above sea level and covers an area of 40.08 square kilometers. As of 2024, it has 396 residents.
In 2021, the ethnic makeup was: Slovaks 359, Rusyns 6, Romani 5, Ukrainians 3, Hungarians 1, and Not specified 29. In 2021, religious affiliation was: Greek Catholic 162, Roman Catholic 155, Eastern Orthodox 14, Evangelical 3, Calvinist 1, Church of the Brethren 1, None 24, and Other 1.
