2023–24 FA Cup qualifying rounds

The 2023–24 FA Cup qualifying rounds opened the 143rd edition of the competition. 640 teams from the 5th to 10th tiers of English football competed across six rounds for 32 spots in the First Round Proper. Places for the FA Cup are capped at 732 to cover the top nine levels, so 640 spots are available in the qualifying rounds. Seven places were reserved for 10th-tier clubs that finished the previous season with the best points per game but had not been promoted.

Entry and progress
- Extra preliminary round draw: 7 July 2023. The seven 10th-tier clubs entering were Stockport Town, Hartpury University, Brislington, Wells City, Wendron United, Liskeard Athletic and Okehampton Argyle, the lowest ranked to enter.
- Preliminary round: 7 July 2023 (draw followed the extra preliminary round). Okehampton Argyle were the only Level 10 team to progress to this stage.
- First qualifying round: 21 August 2023. Okehampton Argyle remained the sole Level 10 club to reach this stage.
- Second qualifying round: 4 September 2023. 14 Level 9 clubs progressed: Tadcaster Albion, Lincoln United, Worcester City, Steyning Town, Knaphill, Eastbourne United, Farnham Town, Reading City, Highworth Town, Emley, AFC Stoneham, Redhill, Bishop Auckland and Albion Sports.
- Third qualifying round: 18 September 2023. Emley was the sole Level 9 club to progress to this stage.
- Fourth qualifying round: 2 October 2023. This round included five Level 8 clubs—the lowest-ranked teams remaining: Biggleswade Town, Leek Town, Ramsgate, Cray Valley Paper Mills and Sheppey United. Ramsgate, Cray Valley Paper Mills and Sheppey United also became the lowest-ranked teams this season to reach the First Round Proper, all three playing in the Isthmian League South East Division.
