Virus is a 2016 Uzbek drama directed by Akbar Bekturdiyev and produced by Diyor Mahkamov. It stars Diyor Mahkamov, Shahzoda Matchanova, and Yulduz Rajabova.

Plot:
Bahtiyor is a campaign manager and head of his family. His life changes when Nargiza, Lola’s friend, visits their home. Nargiza drugs Bahtiyor and films what happens. She uses the video to blackmail him, demanding his house and later shares of his company. Bahtiyor pays and tries to resist, but the pressure from Nargiza and her allies grows. He ends up giving away his house and parts of his company. Overwhelmed by threats, Bahtiyor reaches a breaking point and throws himself from a building.

The original soundtrack was composed by Donyor Agzamov.

Release:
Virus was released on November 29, 2016, with a running time of 115 minutes. It premiered in 12 regional cinemas across Uzbekistan and in all cinemas in Tashkent, and was shown in some Central Asian countries. The soundtrack album by Donyor Agzamov was released on September 4, 2016.
