List of augmented reality video games

Augmented reality video games are listed here. Most are mobile games and don’t run on AR headsets. Some games use AR as a small feature, while others make AR a core part of the gameplay. This list excludes Kinect or EyeToy games. Some devices, such as EyeToy, PlayStation Eye, Kinect, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and many mobile devices, use cameras to overlay graphics on live video, but that isn’t true augmented reality because the view isn’t from the player’s perspective. Most AR software uses special cards that the device reads to place graphics in the right spots.
