Viktor Teslia
Viktor Ivanovich Teslia is a former Soviet pair skater. He competed with his partner Nelli Chervotkina. Together they won the 1979 Prague Skate championship, earned a bronze medal at the 1982 Skate America, and won the 1983 Winter Universiade title. They were coached by Ludmila Velikova and Aleksandr Vlasov. Teslia retired from competition in 1983.
In the 1990s he moved to England to work as a skating coach in Chelmsford. In the 1998–99 season he coached British skaters including Clive Shorten, the national men's champion, and the pairs Katie Wenger / Daniel Thomas and Sarah Kemp / Michael Aldred, who won silver and bronze at the national level. As of August 2016, he was a Level 3 coach in the United Kingdom. His son Kiril was born in the late 1980s.
