Farm to Market Road 1905
Farm to Market Road 1905 (FM 1905) is a short Texas road maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation. The entire 2.17-mile route lies within the town of Anthony, right next to the New Mexico border.
Starting at the New Mexico line as a continuation of NM 225, FM 1905 runs east into Anthony. It travels along West Washington Street near the border, intersects local streets, and briefly runs with State Highway 20 (SH 20) on South Main Street for about 0.1 mile before continuing east on Franklin Street toward I-10. It ends at Interstate 10 (I-10) at exit 0, with the road continuing as Antonio Street into the outskirts and passing a city park.
FM 1905 is the first I-10 interchange after entering Texas from New Mexico. The road is entirely in El Paso County.
History: The FM 1905 designation was created on November 20, 1951, from the state line to U.S. Highway 80 (now SH 20). It was extended to its current route by October 31, 1958.
