Vernon Caryle Holloway Sr. (September 15, 1919 – January 15, 2000) was a Florida businessman and Democratic politician. He was born in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to Florida where he started Interstate Electric Company, Inc. in 1949 in Dade County.

Holloway served eight years in the Florida House of Representatives (1967–1974) and six years in the Florida Senate (1974–1980), representing the 39th District in Miami. He resided in Tallahassee during his time in office.

He was married to Roberta G. and had three children: Jean Estelle, Vernon Jr., and Lee Anthony. He passed away on January 15, 2000, at the age of 80.
