Donnell Washington
Donnell Washington (born February 6, 1981) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was born in Beaufort, South Carolina, and he played college football at Clemson University, where he earned second-team All-ACC honors in 2003. He left Clemson after his junior year to enter the NFL draft.
Washington is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighed about 330 pounds during his playing days.
College career
- Washington played for Clemson University. He chose to skip his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
Professional career
- He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2004 NFL Draft (third round, 73rd overall). He missed his rookie season due to a foot injury.
- In 2005, he was inactive for most of the season and did not appear in any regular-season games.
- The Packers released him in June 2006.
- He then signed with the Oakland Raiders in June 2006, but was released in September 2006 before the season began.
