Valentina Sassi, born July 12, 1980 in Seravezza, Italy, is a former professional tennis player and current coach. She played right-handed and won six ITF singles titles and seven ITF doubles titles. Her best singles ranking was 144 in April 2002, and her best doubles ranking was 153 in September 2006. She appeared in WTA events, including the Madrid Open in 2001, and competed in major tournaments such as Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the Australian Open. She also won a bronze medal for Italy in doubles at the 2001 Mediterranean Games.

Sassi retired from playing in 2008 and moved to the United States to coach. She trained at the Rick Macci academy, coaching players such as Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick. In 2020 she earned the title of International Professional Tennis Coach with the Italian Tennis Federation and USPTA, and she is now a tennis coach and USPTA instructor.
