V. Ramaiah

V. Ramaiah was an Indian National Congress politician from Tamil Nadu (then Madras State). He was elected to the Madras State Legislative Assembly from the Tirumayam constituency in 1957 and in 1962, serving as MLA from 1957–1962 and 1962–1967. He was the Minister for Electricity and Prohibition & Excise from 1 April 1957 to 1 March 1962, in the cabinets of K. Kamaraj and Bhakthavachalam. He was also a former member of Parliament.
