Utel (bishop)

Utel (also Utellus) was a medieval bishop of Hereford. He was appointed and consecrated as bishop sometime between 793 and 798, and his term ended with his death between 799 and 801 (around 800). He succeeded Ceolmund and was followed by Wulfheard.
