The University of Guanajuato (Universidad de Guanajuato) is a public university in Guanajuato, Mexico. It serves about 47,100 students, from high school through doctoral programs. Roughly 30,900 study undergraduate, master's, or doctoral degrees, while about 16,215 are in high school. The university offers 215 programs, including 117 graduate programs and 90 bachelor’s degrees, across campuses in fourteen cities in Guanajuato.

Its history begins with the Hospice of the Holy Trinity, founded on October 1, 1732. It was later named the College of the Immaculate Conception (1827), then the National College of Guanajuato (1867). A library was established in 1831. In 1945 it became the University of Guanajuato, and it was granted autonomy by the state legislature on May 21, 1994.

Campus locations include Celaya-Salvatierra, Guanajuato, Irapuato-Salamanca, and León, among others, with a high school system connected to the university.
