Unión Agua Blanca District
Unión Agua Blanca District is one of thirteen districts in the San Miguel Province, located in Peru’s Cajamarca region. Its capital is the town of Agua Blanca. The district was founded on September 26, 1984.
It covers 171.71 square kilometers and sits about 2,900 meters above sea level. In the 2005 census, 3,973 people lived there, for a density of roughly 23 inhabitants per square kilometer. The current mayor is Enrique Alfonso Agurto Vasquez. The UBIGEO code is 061113. The time zone is Peru Time (UTC-5). The district is located at approximately 7.08°S, 79.04°W.
