Kvissel railway station

Kvissel station serves the village of Kvissel, west of Frederikshavn, in Denmark. It lies on the Vendsyssel railway line between Tolne and Frederikshavn. The station has two side platforms and two tracks. It is owned by DSB (station infrastructure) and Banedanmark (rail infrastructure). Trains are operated by Nordjyske Jernbaner.

History
- Opened in 1871 as a halt on the Nørresundby–Frederikshavn section of the Vendsyssel line.
- Promoted to a full station in 1877; the station building was built.
- On 7 January 1879, with the Limfjord Bridge, the line connected to Aalborg and other lines.
- The station helped Kvissel grow economically in the following years.
- It was closed in 1982 but remained a halt.
- In 2017, Nordjyske Jernbaner took over regional services on the Vendsyssel line from DSB.

- Nordjyske Jernbaner operates frequent regional trains from Kvissel to Aalborg and Frederikshavn.
