Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator
Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator (UEBS) is a sandbox battle game for Windows made by Brilliant Game Studios. It first appeared on Steam Early Access on April 12, 2017 and was fully released on June 2, 2017. A sequel, UEBS 2, entered early access on May 12, 2022.
In UEBS, two sides face off using units from many categories: historical soldiers and weapons, famous movie and comic characters, animals, and fantasy beings. You can choose the battlefield, place units, and decide how many to use. The units fight automatically with AI until one side is wiped out. There’s no fixed limit on units, so very large battles can push or crash your computer.
Reviews describe UEBS more as a technical toy or sandbox than a traditional game. It’s praised for its huge, funny mass battles and potential, but criticized for limited content. It’s often seen as an indie project from a small team that offers a lot of room for experimentation.
