Falcón is a British crime drama TV series based on the novels by Robert Wilson. It aired on Sky Atlantic in 2012 as a single season of four episodes, with a total running time of about 180 minutes. The series stars Marton Csokas as Chief Inspector Javier Falcón, with Hayley Atwell, Charlie Creed-Miles, Santiago Cabrera, Emilia Fox, Kerry Fox, and James Floyd in supporting roles.

Produced by Mammoth Screen for Sky, Canal+ and ZDF, Falcón was filmed in Seville, Spain. Executive producers were Michele Buck, Rebecca Keane and Damien Timmer, with Julia Stannard as producer. Cinematography was by Lula Carvalho and David Raedeker, and action sequences were coordinated by Ricardo Cruz Ardura.

The backdrop of Seville’s architecture and culture adds to the story. Some critics noted the show’s campy, self-important style but also praised its classy direction.
