European Wheelchair Basketball Championship
The European Wheelchair Basketball Championship is the main biennial competition for European national teams, organized by IWBF Europe, the European division of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation. It also serves as a qualifying event for the Wheelchair Basketball World Championships and the Paralympic Games. The first men’s championship was held in 1970, and the first women’s championship followed in 1974. Up to 2022, the women’s competition had two divisions.
