Ulmus parvifolia 'Elsmo' is a Chinese elm cultivar released in 1990 by the USDA Soil Conservation Service in Elsberry, Missouri. It came from open-pollinated, seed-propagated trees, so offspring can vary.

Appearance: A graceful, round-headed tree, often with pendulous branches. Leaves are dark green and turn yellowish to reddish-purple in autumn. Bark is a mottled mix of grey, green, orange, and brown.

Pests and disease: Highly resistant to Dutch elm disease (not immune) and not affected by elm leaf beetle.

Origin and distribution: Primarily grown in North America; not known to be cultivated elsewhere.
