USC Trojans women's beach volleyball
USC Trojans women's beach volleyball, based in Los Angeles, is coached by Olympic gold medalist Dain Blanton and competes in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. They play at Merle Norman Stadium and are nicknamed the Women of Troy. The program began in 2012, with its first match on March 10, 2013, a 4-1 win over Loyola Marymount. USC won the AVCA national title in 2015, and after the NCAA started beach volleyball championships in 2016, the Trojans have won six national titles (2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) and were runners-up in 2019.
