Güzelyalı railway station
Güzelyalı railway station is in Pendik, Istanbul, and is on the Marmaray line. It opened in 1959 as part of the Haydarpaşa suburban rail and had two tracks with side platforms. The station closed in February 2012 for the Ankara–Istanbul high-speed railway project, was demolished, and rebuilt. A new station with an island platform serving two tracks and a third express track opened on 12 March 2019 along with Marmaray. It is at-grade, accessible, and is owned by Turkish State Railways and operated by TCDD Taşımacılık. Marmaray trains run between Halkalı and Gebze, and the former Haydarpaşa suburban service ended in 2012.
