U.S. Special Forces: Team Factor
U.S. Special Forces: Team Factor is a first-person shooter released in May 2002. Made by 7FX, it was meant to rival Counter-Strike. Unlike Counter-Strike, it features three sides: US Special Forces, Russian Spetsnaz, and Terrorists, with both multiplayer and a single-player mode where bots control the opposing forces. Development began in 2000 with a small team of about 9–14 developers, funded by I.C.C.C., and it runs on 7FX’s LightForce engine. It was originally planned for mid-2001 but released in May 2002, published by Xicat Interactive as U.S. Special Forces: Team Factor. The game includes 22 maps. It received generally unfavorable reviews, with about 44% on Metacritic and 46.5% on GameRankings, criticized for its gameplay, graphics, and AI.
