Twilight Time is the second studio album by Finnish power metal band Stratovarius. It was recorded in early 1992 at Millbrook Musiikki in Helsinki and runs 41 minutes and 59 seconds. In Finland it was originally released in early 1992 as Stratovarius II on Bluelight Records. Later in 1992, Shark Records released it worldwide under the name Twilight Time with new artwork, but the music stayed the same.

In June 1993 the album came out in Japan on Victor Entertainment as Twilight Time. Bluelight issued two Finnish reissues in 1992 and 1993 under the original title Stratovarius II with different cover art; the Twilight Time releases used a band photo on the back. The original “feet” cover pressings are now collectors’ items. Although bassist Jari Behm appears in photos and is credited, all bass parts on the album were played by guitarist Timo Tolkki.

All music for Twilight Time was written by Timo Tolkki, and the album helped broaden Stratovarius’s popularity in Japan as their melodic, classic power metal sound began to gel. The album was produced by the band. The singles released in 1992 were Break the Ice / Lead Us into the Light. Twilight Time sits between Fright Night (1989) and Dreamspace (1994) in Stratovarius’s discography.
