Toney Lee is an American singer, songwriter and producer from New York City. He creates garage house, post-disco and club/dance music and has been active since 1982. His club hit "Reach Up" reached No. 8 on the US Billboard Dance chart and No. 64 in the UK in January 1983, and was later sampled by Phats & Small in "Turn Around" (1999). In 1983 he released "Love So Deep" on Radar Records, which reached No. 22 on the US Dance chart. Both songs were written and produced with Eric Matthew. In 1985, "Teaser" hit No. 64 on the US Billboard R&B chart. In October 1987, "My Baby Loves Me" reached No. 41 on the US Dance chart. He has released music on Radar and Unidisc.
