Tomáš Dlabaja
Tomáš Dlabaja (born 13 October 1983) is a Czech orienteering competitor. He became World Champion in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships 2012 in Switzerland, together with Jan Sedivy and Jan Prochazka, after nearly giving up his elite orienteering career that year. He first made a mark with a bronze medal at the World Games 2005 in Duisburg in the mixed relay, alongside Petr Losman, Marta Štěrbová and Dana Brožková. Individually, his best result early on was sixth place in the sprint at the 2007 World Championships. At WOC 2008 in Olomouc, he finished sixth in the sprint, 13th in the middle distance, and fourth in the relay with the Czech team. Since then he has had challenges reaching top individual results, but trained hard again in Finland in 2013 after the 2012 gold. In 2014 he finished his university studies and his sporting career. He also occasionally took part in cross-country running or adventure races, such as Dolomitenmann 2011, where he won the amateur class.
