Tibor Polgár

Tibor Polgár (11 March 1907 – 27 August 1993) was a Hungarian film composer. Born in Budapest, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, he worked for decades in Hungary’s film industry during the Horthy era and the early Communist period before emigrating to Canada. He wrote film scores from 1935 to 1978 and died in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 86.
