Therese Svendsen
Therese Svendsen (born 13 March 1989 in Malmö) is a Swedish swimmer who competes in backstroke. She swims for SK Ran and has studied for the Southern Methodist University (SMU Mustangs) in the United States since 2008. She previously held Sweden's short-course record in the 200 m backstroke and swam for Sweden at the 2007 World Championships. In 2012 she won a European Championships long-course medal in the 4×100 m medley in Debrecen and finished 35th in the 100 m backstroke at the 2012 Olympics.
