The Whispering Skull (film)
The Whispering Skull is a 1944 American Western film directed by Elmer Clifton and written by Harry L. Fraser. It stars Tex Ritter as Tex Haines, along with Dave O'Brien, Guy Wilkerson, Denny Burke, I. Stanford Jolley, and Henry Hall. In the Old West, a mysterious killer known as the Whispering Skull is murdering people at night. Tex Haines leads the Texas Rangers to track down and stop the midnight marauder. The film was released on December 29, 1944, by Producers Releasing Corporation and runs 56 minutes. It was produced by Alexander-Stern Productions, with cinematography by Edward A. Kull and editing by Hugh Winn.
