The Swimming Pool (1977 film)
The Swimming Pool (Bulgarian: Басейнът, Baseynat) is a 1977 Bulgarian drama film directed by Binka Zhelyazkova. The screenplay is by Hristo Ganev, produced by Vesela Dimitrova, and stars Kosta Tsonev. Cinematography is by Ivaylo Trenchev. The film runs 148 minutes and is in Bulgarian. It premiered in Moscow in July 1977 and was released in Bulgaria on 29 August 1977. The Swimming Pool was entered into the 10th Moscow International Film Festival and won the Silver Prize.
