The Summit Media Group Inc. was a New York City–based subsidiary of 4Kids Entertainment (formerly Leisure Concepts). It was founded in November 1992 by Leisure Concepts and 4Kids Productions and provided print and broadcast media planning and buying services for clients in the children’s toy and game business. Summit also served as a television syndication company, distributing several children’s shows and three specials. In 1995 it became a subsidiary of the renamed 4Kids Entertainment. Led by CEO Lee Ravdin, Summit was headquartered in New York City until 4Kids announced its closure on June 24, 2006.
