The Police Officer's Wife
The Police Officer's Wife (Die Frau des Polizisten) is a 2013 German drama film directed by Philip Gröning. It stars Alexandra Finder and David Zimmerschied. The movie is 175 minutes long and in German.
The film premiered in the main competition at the 70th Venice International Film Festival on 30 August 2013, where it won the Special Jury Prize. It was released in Germany on 20 March 2014.
Produced by Philip Gröning, Matthias Esche, Philipp Kreuzer and Werner Wirsing, Gröning also did the cinematography. Editing was by Gröning with Hannes Bruun and Karl Riedl as co-editors.
