Ochyrocera laracna
Ochyrocera laracna is a species of spider in the family Ochyroceratidae. It is found only in Brazil. The species was described in 2018 by researchers Brescovit, Cizauskas and Mota. The name honors Shelob, the giant spider from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings; Laracna is the Portuguese name for Shelob.
