The Living Planet: Music from the BBC TV Series
The Living Planet: Music from the BBC TV Series is the soundtrack for the BBC nature series The Living Planet. It was written and recorded by Elizabeth Parker at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and released in 1984 by BBC Records. The music is electronic, produced by Parker, with William Grierson as compiler. In the Radiophonic Workshop catalog, it sits after The Soundhouse (1983) and before Doctor Who – The Music II (1985). Silva Screen reissued the album in 2016 on CD and digital download (12 August) and on pearl-colored vinyl (26 August).
