The Kids Are All Fight is the nineteenth episode of The Simpsons’ 26th season. It was directed by Bob Anderson and written by Rob LaZebnik, and aired on Fox on April 26, 2015.

Plot
The episode centers on Bart and Lisa’s ongoing rivalry and uses a flashback to 2009, when Bart was four and Lisa was two, to show how their fighting began. It starts with a library incident, a doodle about a clown bed, and a fight that leads to punishment from Homer. A psychologist explains that Lisa is smart and good, while Bart is mischievous.

To help, Ned Flanders arranges for Grandma Flanders to babysit so the parents can have a day off. The kids end up home alone and get into more trouble. As Marge and Homer worry, Bart and Lisa wander through Springfield. Lisa’s brains help them team up against the bullies, and they eventually end up with Grampa at the Retirement Castle.

Homer and Marge search for them and finally find them on top of the Springfield Tire Fire. A rescue attempt goes wrong and the kids are knocked back into the house, where the clown bed falls apart. In the present, Marge is relieved that Bart and Lisa have learned to get along, and a side joke reveals Maggie’s bedroom once being used to grow marijuana.

Couch gag
The episode uses a repeat of The Game of Life couch gag from “Pay Pal,” with Grampa in the role of the game’s “death,” after an earlier plan for a different gag was cut for time.

Reception
The episode drew about 3.33 million viewers and a 1.5 rating, making it the most-watched Fox show that night. Critics were mixed to positive: The A.V. Club gave it a B−, and Den of Geek gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
