The Gardener of Argenteuil (French: Le jardinier d'Argenteuil; German: Blüten, Gauner und die Nacht von Nizza) is a 1966 crime comedy film directed by Jean-Paul Le Chanois. It stars Jean Gabin, Liselotte Pulver, and Pierre Vernier. Filming took place at the Victorine Studios in Nice and on location around Paris, including Argenteuil. The sets were designed by art director Paul-Louis Boutié. The story is based on the 1933 novel Le jardinier d'Argenteuil by René Jouglet. It was a French–West German co-production. The film was released in France on 7 October 1966 and in West Germany on 27 December 1966. Its runtime is 88 minutes and the language is French. Production companies were Les Films Copernic, Gafer Films Vertried, and Roxy Film, with Comacico distributing in France and Constantin Film in West Germany.
