Dmytro Karpenko is a Ukrainian army officer. Since 2022, he has been the commander of the Air Command South. He has participated in the Russo-Ukrainian War. From 2018 to 2022, he served as Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Air Command West. On December 6, 2012, he was appointed Chief of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces of the Ukrainian Air Force. He holds the rank of Major General.
