The Gamer's Connection

The Gamer's Connection is a game magazine published by Gold Rush Games. In 1992, Mark Arsenault started M.T.A. Graphics to publish the fanzine for Sacramento area RPG fans. Soon after, M.T.A. Graphics became Gold Rush Games, and The Gamer's Connection grew into a national quarterly tabloid newsletter. By 1995, a year’s subscription cost $8. In Dragon magazine’s June 1995 issue (No. 218), Rick Swan criticized many small magazines but called The Gamer's Connection a pleasant surprise, praising its news, features, and reviews and noting it was well written and edited. He recommended it, saying at $2 per issue it’s a steal.
