The Funding Portal, Inc. (Fundingportal) was a Canadian company that offered software and services to manage grants and incentives for applicants, funders, and advisors. It created Fundsearch, a database of about 21,000 government funding sources and private capital, used by businesses, universities, hospitals, charities, and nonprofits in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The platform helped track government grants, incentives, and tax credits, with around $30 billion in funding disbursed annually.

History
- Founded July 11, 2011 by CEO Terry Kirk. It raised private funding and launched Fundsearch, which began with about 7,000 programs; by 2012 it included a capital markets section with over 3,500 sources.
- In 2012, KPMG Canada partnered with Fundingportal to expand tax incentive offerings. The company licensed its technology to 19 organizations, including MaRS, CNAM, BIOTECanada, and others.
- In 2014, Fundingportal was registered as an Exempt Market Dealer portal to help companies access government funding and capital markets.
- In 2016, CEO Terry Kirk received the EY Sara Kirke Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
- In 2018, Fundingportal launched AI-powered Incentives Management Tools (12 tools for enterprise licenses).
- In 2020, Alexandria J. Shannon was named Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships in April and became President in July.
- In 2022, Fundingportal was acquired by Ryan LLC.
