Spekia

Spekia is a genus of freshwater snails in the Paludomidae family. They are aquatic mollusks found only in Lake Tanganyika, and Spekia is the type genus of the tribe Spekiini. For many years only one species was known, but in 1999 a second species was described. The genus Spekia currently contains two species.
