The Cowplain School is a coeducational secondary academy in Cowplain, near Waterlooville, Hampshire, England. It started in 1930 and serves pupils aged 11 to 16. Today about 1,060 students attend, with roughly 60 teaching staff and around 35 other staff. The school draws students from nearby villages including Denmead, Hambledon, Purbrook and Petersfield.

Originally a mixed school, it later became a boys’ school while girls went to another school, and after World War II girls returned in separate classes. Now it is a mixed, non-selective school. The campus began with one building and grew to include the Main Building, the Central Building, the South Wing and the West Wing, plus the Business Centre opened in 2006/07 with funds from its Business and Enterprise College status. The South Wing was damaged by a fire in the 1970s, rebuilt, and refurbished between 2001 and 2003.

The school has changed names and status over the years: it was known as Cowplain Community School and Cowplain Comprehensive, became a foundation school in 2008, a full academy in 2012, and was renamed The Cowplain School in 2016. It has held special designations such as Business and Enterprise College (2005) and Healthy School (2007).
