Mouna Noureddine, born Saadia Oueslati on 23 January 1939 in Tunis, Tunisia, is a celebrated Tunisian actress. She has been active since 1954 and remains involved in film, theater, and television. Her stage name was suggested by artist Mohamed Hedi Remnissi.

She studied at the Muslim girls’ elementary school in Hammam-Lif and joined a local theater group, Ennahdha ettamthilia. After earning a degree in 1952, she attended a teachers college in Tunis and later switched to the Arabic theatre school of Tunis in 1954. At age 15, while rehearsing The Merchant of Venice, she met her future husband, Noureddine Kasbaoui; they later married. They had six children—two boys and four girls.

In 1954 she joined the municipal Arabic theatre troupe led by Zeki Touleïmat, and the next year she was chosen by Mohamed Agrebi to star in leading roles. Noureddine has acted in about 150 plays, with some directed by Aly Ben Ayed.

In cinema, she appeared in many Tunisian films such as Khlifa the Tigneux, Sejnane, Fatma 75, Aziza, And Tomorrow…?, The Man of Ashes, and The Season of Men. Her work has been seen across Tunisia, the Maghreb, Europe, and beyond.

On stage, she has performed at major Tunisian venues like Théâtre de la Ville, Théâtre Récamier, and Théâtre de l’Odéon, and at the Beethoven Festival, with performances in Iran and Egypt as well. On television, she acted in serials including El Khottab Al Bab, Mnamet Aroussia, Choufli Hal, and Nsibti Laaziza, all directed by Slaheddine Essid.

Since 2002 she has served as director of the Tunis City troupe and continues to take part in Tunisian and international productions. She was honored with the Ministry of Culture’s Honorary Prize in 1985 and has received many other festival honors throughout her career.
