Canton of Marquise
The canton of Marquise was a former administrative area in northern France, in the Pas-de-Calais department within the Hauts-de-France region. It covered 183.34 square kilometers and had 21,997 residents in 2012, giving a population density of about 120 people per square kilometer. Its seat was the town of Marquise, and it was part of the Boulogne-sur-Mer arrondissement. The canton included 21 communes. In March 2015, during a nationwide reform of cantons, Marquise was disbanded and its communes joined the canton of Desvres.
