The Philips boxed set Swingle Singers is a 2005 compilation that collects all eleven Paris-based Swingle Singers recordings the group made for Philips from 1963 to 1972. The box runs about 5.5 hours and includes eleven discs. Ten of those discs had already been issued earlier by Philips/Emarcy in five two-for-one (two-fer) sets over the previous five years.

The Swingle Singers are eight vocalists: two sopranos, two altos, two tenors, and two basses, with a drummer and double bassist as the rhythm section. On the albums Encounter and Place VendĂ´me, the rhythm section features The Modern Jazz Quartet.
