Suzy Enoch
Suzy Enoch (Suzanne Enoch) is a Scottish writer, director and actress based in Edinburgh. She was born in Aberdeen and trained as an actress in London at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She also studied at St Andrews University.
In 2006 she founded the First Draft Theatre Company in London, which later became Blank Pages. The company produced original plays about current events and brought together unfamiliar cast and directors. In 2007 she co-founded the Aberdeen-based Writers & Actors Collaboration (WAC) Theatre Company with Colin Garrow and Liz Lees, with support from Aberdeen Council. WAC created plays with local writers, directors and actors.
With WAC, Enoch wrote and directed works and acted in productions such as The Body in the Bag and WLTM, Towards the inevitability of Catastrophe. She wrote and directed The Jabberwocky, a stage adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s work, for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011.
